Last night I attended the release party for attorney Connie Murray's first book "30 Days 'Til Launch", a practical checklist of all the basic things you must know before your first day in business. It was a beautiful evening with her family, friends and clients coming together to celebrate her latest success, but my interview with her several weeks earlier revealed that this milestone represents so much more than most of us in the room could have ever imagined.
In our complete video interview you'll see her top 3 recommendations for anyone considering becoming a lawyer -- one of which I'd never heard before. Or maybe I'd never heard it expressed in such an engaging way before (genius). Let us know in the comments on this page or in the YouTube comments section if you think you know which one I mean. I'll send the first one to get it right a free copy of her book "30 Days 'Til Launch".
But beyond career advice, you'll find out...
how she proved the naysayers wrong when they assumed she'd bury her dreams after life took an unexpected turn in her sophomore year of college,
what she did after experiencing such a long period of setbacks, that the only place she could look was up,
how refusing to settle for a decent consolation prize opened the door to the grand prize she had never let go of, and
how she and her husband are raising their very young daughters these days, so that entrepreneurship will come naturally to them.
